WE NEED YOUR HELP!!! The word janky needs to make a comeback. Much in the same vein as Paris Hilton and her now trademarked “That’s Hot!”, we want janky to be the new phrase of this decade. Please see the definition below and start spreading it around. Bonus points for crafting additional uses like jankiness, janked, jankier or jankly.
Janky – adjective
- used to describe a person, place or thing which is questionable, fucked up, wrong, strange, broken down, undesirable, and/or just plain dodgy.
The best Janky moments of Shooting:
1. “Otessa, someone burrittoed on your couch.”
2. Judy Coff thinking we had been evicted. “Do you know where I work?!?!?!”
3. Scrubbing blue hair dye and molasses out of Otessa’s floor, pillows and clothes.

4. The 105 degree temp of the Mitchell’s kitchen.
5. The tourists at the Jefferson Memorial who thought Nick and Shawn were actually in the Navy. They wanted a picture. Check out our blog post on this!!

6. Ben Palacios’ Vibram toe shoes. We love you Ben!
7. Realizing the missing LED light had been on set the entire time.
8. The shear number of times Otessa’s security system said “Front Door”. Almost outdone by the secret “Back Door” breaks.
9. Jesse sneaking away from work to see Twilight: Eclipse!
10. The security guard at Alexandria offices who was upset over the actors yelling and not the 10 kids driving a beat up Firebird around a circle at 40 miles per hour. He was on the phone with his girlfriend.
11. Attending a rave for two days! It was hot and we still see flashing lights when we go to sleep at night.

12. Shaggy leading our four tutu clad actresses around the Watermelon House in Sketchy Shaw at 10 o’clock at night
13. A PA finding the time to sunbath and read a magazine in Aviators.
14. Otessa getting her tire slashed and a parking ticket for not parking with a permit when the 8″ by 11″ permit was sitting inside the car window a few inches from the ticket.
15. Our entire motley crew that somehow managed to pull off an amazing season!
