Onwards and Up! Indie Productions & Web Series Everywhere

After the whirlwind of wrapping up our SIXTH season (with a whole half season left to release!) and holding the first ever DC Web Series Festival and arranging for the first web series screening at Filmfest DC, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on this past year’s accomplishments– and there have been many!

First, Orange Juice in Bishop’s Garden is an Official Honoree of 17th Annual Webby Awards in Drama! Seeing our indie produced, underdog show honored alongside mega shows like Hulu’s Booth at the End, Tom Hank’s series Electric City, Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome, and others, is AMAZING. We’re tremendously honored and over the moon with excitement for what this means for new media and indie productions everywhere. We’re moving onwards and up!

Second, Orange Juice in Bishop’s Garden was screened at The OUTlander Project at SXSW in Austin, Texas! The OUTlander Project works to promote artists of all creative classes and their works to the LGBTQ community.

Third, Orange Juice in Bishop’s Garden has once again competed in One More Lesbian’s “Battle of the Lesbian Web Series” at this year’s Dinah Shore Weekend, the largest gathering of lesbians in the world. Our very own Ellen Winter went to represent the show and battled it out!

Fourth, Orange Juice in Bishop’s Garden is an LA Web Fest Award Winner with Ellen Winter winning Outstanding Lead Actress in Drama! Congratulations, Ellen!

Fifth, Orange Juice in Bishop’s Garden was an Official Selection of the 2013 HollyWeb Festival!

These are just a few of the milestones we’ve reached the past few months. And all of this is due to our amazing OJBG cast, crew, and fans. Thank you for all your support!
